Why buy your fishing tackle from Bodle Angling?
Bodle Angling is an independent tackle shop inside Bodle Bros at Southdown Store, Cuckfield Road, Burgess Hill, and it has supplied anglers across Sussex and the UK for over 30 years. The team behind the counter fish carp, coarse, predator and sea themselves, so the advice comes from people who use the kit on the bank.
The shop floor is set up so you can try before you buy. Flex the rods, hold the reels, sit on the bedchairs and see the bivvies up. On a bivvy or a bedchair that makes far more difference than on a packet of hooks. You can check what’s on our shelves right now before you set off, and we sell maggots in store too.
Online you get the same range, with brands like Nash, Korda, Fox and Guru. Delivery is free on orders over £50, you can click and collect from the shop, pay over time with Klarna, and earn loyalty points on every order. If you spot it cheaper elsewhere, we’ll price match. If we don’t stock it, our special order service can source it for you, and a Bodle Angling gift card covers the angler who already has everything.
The shop is open Monday to Friday 8am to 5:30pm and Saturday 8am to 12:30pm, closed Sundays and bank holidays. Plan your visit. Bodle Angling also sponsors the Angling and Mental Health Initiative, and takes donated fishing gear to help it get new anglers on the water.
